Plot
Storyline
A World War II drama where people, many of whom opposed to Nazism, get on board a train from France that could lead them to freedom.
During World War II, the village nicknamed "Les Milles" (The Thousands) not far from Aix-en-Provence served as an internment camp for German, Austrian, Czech, and stateless civilian men aged 18 to 65. These men were Jewish, communists, or simply opponents of Nazism. A French officer decided to save these men.
