Largo Winch (2008)(CZ)

The news of the death of industrial magnate Nerio Winch (Miki Manojlovic), who had managed his global corporate empire from Hong Kong, sends the international financial world into a frenzy - takeover rumors are doing the rounds. Allegedly, Russian tycoon Mikhail Korsky (Karel Roden) wants to acquire the Winch Group. Nerio's close colleague Ann Ferguson (Kristin Scott Thomas) must prevent power struggles on the board and within the group from disrupting the defense against a takeover. Nerio's adopted son Largo wants to prove that his father was murdered, but he must also prove that he is the rightful heir. The danger he is in becomes apparent during his first appearance at the company when a man with an important message for Largo is shot dead in the middle of the meeting. Largo has to return to Europe and present the bearer bonds, which only the heir knows where they are. Largo is shot while trying to get hold of the papers, which are in an abandoned monastery in the Mediterranean. Only a daring jump into the sea can save him from his pursuers. Recovered, he joins forces with Korsky to return to Hong Kong in time to prevent the Winch Group from being broken up, but also to bring his father's murderer to justice.
