Plot:
Housewife Liliane lives with her family in a small harbor town in the west of France. She and her husband Jean have been married for a long time, but Liliane is subliminally unhappy. In her youth, she was torn between two men, both of whom she loved. And who also loved her and fought for her. However, one of them, Yvon, embarked as a sailor after conquering her, and Lili ended up marrying Jean. But now, after 20 years, Yvon returns from Guadeloupe with his wife and children. His arrival soon triggers a rivalry between the two men - plenty of material for conflict in their respective families. And then there is the carnival with the beauty queen contest, which Lili once won and in which Yvon's teenage daughter is now taking part.
