Plot:

Pomme, a guileless 19-year-old assistant hairdresser living with her mother, works in a Parisian beauty salon. When her only friend, Marylene, a more experienced and independent woman, takes her to the chic seaside resort of Cabourg in Normandy for vacation, Pomme meets Francois, a cultivated literature student. As they fall in love, the young couple return to Paris with big dreams, only to realise that life is complicated. As a result, one has a change of heart. Will their whirlwind romance survive, or is a cold separation inevitable?
