Plot:
Samir, a quiet, reserved guy, notices a woman in a bar. She's just giving another guy the cold shoulder. Samir stares after her, fascinated. When he learns that she is a swimming instructor, he immediately buys a new pair of swim trunks and heads to the pool. Samir pretends he can't swim so that Agathe will teach him. However, he is assigned a different instructor and has to humiliate himself doing frog kicks in front of Agathe, who is teaching a child at the same time. She doesn't even glance his way, though. Secretly, Samir writes his name in Agathe's column on the training schedule. His dream comes true: he gets lessons from Agathe. At first, she seems unimpressed by Samir's personality. And yet, their swimming exercises together are a bit romantic. When Samir dawdles in the locker room after practice, he gets locked in the pool. But he's not alone: Agathe is still in the pool, doing her evening laps. They grow closer, and Samir tells Agathe the tragic story of how his father tried to teach him to swim and threw him into the river - a traumatic experience, he claims. They climb onto the diving platform, and they kiss, but they're not alone. One of the employees is leading two drunk teenagers around the pool. When one of the party girls falls into the pool, Samir jumps in after her and pulls her out of the water. He's a lifeguard and has been lying to Agathe the whole time. Can he win her back?
