Plot:
In honour of the Japanese-American veterans who bravely fought during World War II, former US Military Staff Sergeant and karate master Mr Miyagi travels to Boston to attend a ceremony. There, he meets Julie, a troubled 17-year-old girl who is constantly angry at the world and her abusive classmates. After all, she struggles to come to terms with the untimely loss of her parents. Before long, Julie becomes Miyagi's new pupil, eager to learn the true meaning of karate and self-esteem. Through the teachings of self-defence and respect for all living things, could Julie become the next Karate Kid?
