Jonas

Jonas lives burdened by guilt and existential angst in the heart of the unwelcoming metropolis. When he finds a hat bearing the initials of a friend he abandoned during a wartime escape from a camp, his guilt spirals into paranoia. Plagued by inner voices, he wanders the city, feeling surrounded by its skyscrapers. Even his girlfriend, Nanni, feels powerless to help him escape his agonizing limbo between the past and the present.
