In his never-ending pursuit to accumulate the perfect stock of round and shiny acorns, Scrat, the restless sabre-toothed squirrel, accidentally triggers a geologic chain reaction of epic proportions after the events of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009). As a result, Manny gets separated from Ellie and their rebellious teen daughter, Peaches.
