The Pigeon

Confronting the harsh realities of life from the rooftop of his house somewhere in a suburb of Adana, the taciturn young man, Yusuf, spends his time passionately breeding pigeons. Indeed, the birds, which has inherited from his father, are Yusuf's solace, and, in particular, one female pigeon, Maverdi, is his favourite. However, this unusual bond doesn't sit well with his brother, who, more and more, pressurises Yusuf to find a job and support the family. Then, sensitive Yusuf sees beautiful Gulfem and falls head over heels in love with her. Can Yusuf keep on living in his secure, isolated world?
