Tara Bhalla a young lawyer has just won her first case and celebrates overnight leaving her phone unattended.Next morning she finds that her father Harish was calling her several times as her mother Gayatri passed away last night.Harish and Gayatri lived happily in Chandigarh but suddenly Gayatri suffers an heart attack and passes away and none of their children were around as they were busy in their lives.Harish and Tara never got well,during the funeral ceremony Tara creates ruckus way the traditions are followed as she feels her mother never believed in such things.There children start to arrive one by one just for formalities but one of their son is still not traceable being a traveler.After the final rites things take an ugly turn between the father and children where each one tries to overcome it with fond memories of Gayatri.
