Todd, a young man grappling with chronic illness, moves into his late grandfather's cabin in the woods with Indy, the faithful Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever he raised from a puppy. But ominous rumours of restless paranormal activity surround Todd's secluded new home. And almost immediately, his condition begins to deteriorate. Indy, however, has already picked up the foul scent of evil; something sinister lurks in every corner of the house, and it is coming their way. As undefined figures and unsettling noises keep Indy on high alert, the question emerges: Faced with encroaching darkness, can Indy keep Todd from harm?
