Sumittar Singh, a tailor by profession gets a chance to become a food inspector for a few months. His only duty was to mark attendance and go back to his guest house, but fun begins when a he starts feeling power in his hands. Sumittar begins to enjoy the respect given to him by his subordinates, the fear in the eyes of local businessmen, the raids he conducts and most significantly the bribe he takes. Bachitar Singh, who is a food safety officer, had gone on Furlow and appointed Sumitar to fill up on his behalf. Bachitar is now scared that Sumitar might get him caught because while Sumitar is enjoying the power, he is representing Bachitar. Sumittar falls in love with a school teacher Rimpy and continues to shine as a food safety officer, only to impress Rimpi. Stakes go high as he messes with a local don and seals his illegal businesses. And in this process, Sumittar unintentionally becomes messiah for villagers.
