French Exit (2020)[WebRip][720p]

Widowed New York socialite Frances Price, who always has a steely, in control veneer, much like a suit of armor, was not a part of her son Malcolm Price's life until she took him out of boarding school when he was twelve. With he now a young adult, she has been the sole guiding force of his life in her control, and as such he has become directionless in not doing anything meaningful if he doesn't think it will receive her blessing, such as tell her he wants to marry his girlfriend, Susan. While she has known for years this day would come if her grand plan did not come to fruition which it did not, she learns that she has drained both her and her husband Frank Price's fortunes, leaving her only her physical assets, such as jewelry, which she is advised to sell "quietly" on which to live. With the house no longer hers, she decides that she, Malcolm and their cat Small Frank (despite she admitting she not being a cat person, but Small Frank who is an important part of her life in unofficially having adopted him when he chanced upon her life) will move to Paris to live in her best friend Joan's otherwise empty flat. While the grand plan is still active, she, and by association Malcolm, will have to figure out what their new life will look like. In the process, they amass an odd i.e. eccentric and diverse collective of acquaintances who will affect that new life.
