She makes an image in front of people when she travels to meet people of Assam during Indo Sino war assuring people not to flee their motherland.After the death of her father she is the relevant candidate for Prime Minister and becomes the first and only female Prime Minister of India.during her tenure she tackles many issues of the country one major being like formation of Bangladesh in 1971.But few decisions taken by her don't go in favor of party members and worst happens when her younger son Sanjay Gandhi becomes her helping hand Sanjay a spoil brat known for his wrong activities but Indira favors him as he is the only one who understood her political career.After involvement of Sanjay many senior leaders leave the party while Indira's seat is also in danger as people want her to step down as Prime Minster.But Indira Gandhi takes a controversial decision and announces emergency period in the country.
