Plot
Storyline
Two friends from a small village in Cuenca, Spain, accused of the murder of one villager by their neighbors, confess to the crime after being cruelty tortured.
On August 21, 1910, in the small village of Osa de la Vega (Cuenca province), Jose Maria Grimaldos was seen on his way to the neighboring village of Tresjuncos-and then "disappeared." His family pressed the local gendarmes, who, during a rushed investigation, blamed two men, Gregorio Valera and Leon Sanchez. Through violent interrogation and torture, they were forced to confess to the murder. On May 25, 1918, they were sentenced to 18 years. In 1926, Jose Maria Grimaldos was seen living peacefully in the neighboring village. The film is based on true events.
