The wheelchair-bound mad scientist Dr. Durea is the last living descendant of the Frankenstein family. He operates a haunted house exhibit at an amusement park, with his laboratory hidden in the same building. Durea is desperately trying to perfect a blood serum which will heal his own paralyzed legs. Count Dracula has located the burial site of the long-dormant Frankenstein Monster. He offers it to Durea so that he can revive it, in exchange for the blood serum which will permanently remove Dracula's vulnerability to sunlight. Durea instructs Dracula and the revived Monster to murder his personal arch-enemy, Dr. Beaumont, the man who intentionally crippled him and ruined his career. Dracula and the Monster have a falling out over a woman. Dracula thinks that the professional showgirl Judith Fontaine is ideal material for becoming his vampire bride, while the lonely Monster has genuinely fallen for Judith and is trying to protect her.
