Storyline
"Enjoy the Silence" is a song by Depeche Mode, taken from their seventh studio album, Violator. The single is Gold certificated in the US and Germany. The song won Best British Single at the 1991 BRIT Awards.
The plot of the video for the song "Enjoy the Silence", directed by Anton Corbijn, is based on the plot of the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery "The Little Prince". In the video, Dave Gahan, in the role of a stereotypical king, in a mantle, with a crown on his head, wanders over the hills of Scotland, the coast of Portugal and the Swiss Alps with a chaise lounge in his hands. Periodically, between the scenes, a group appears, posing for a black and white shooting.
