Plot:

Isaac Clarke and his team hear a distress call from the mining ship The USG Ishimura, and it turns out something awful has taken over the ship: an alien parasite whose only true weakness is limb dismemberment by laser-gun. Knowing the aliens are powered by an object known only as The Artefact, Isaac must find the dreaded monument and stop the parasites from infesting the galaxy at large.
