Plot
Storyline
Based on a true story, a mother of two in the midst of a bitter divorce from her wealthy and abusive husband learns that he has hired a hitman to have her killed.
Robert and Linda Edelman seem happily married with two wonderful children. However, behind closed doors lies a terror of verbal, physical and mental abuse that Linda has suffered through for years. Finally mustering up the strength to leave Robert and file for divorce, Linda feels free, but the nightmare has only begun. Because Robert knows that if the court learns of the abuse, he will lose custody of his children; so he makes the decision to hire a hitman to kill his wife before the court date. Unknown to him, the "hitman" he thought he hired turns out to be an undercover FBI agent looking to take down Robert and his middleman, Mr. Young. Under the FBI's protection, Linda's safety seems almost guaranteed. But can Linda survive long enough to make it to the hearing?
