Plot
Storyline
Professional beach bum and 'knight errant' Travis McGee goes up against psychotic body-builder Terry Bartell. McGee pulls out all the stops when he joins a Caribbean cruise to bring the killer to justice.
Muscle bound psychopath Terry Bartell (William Smith) dumps weighted down Vangie (Suzy Kendall) in the river. He's unaware that Travis McGhee (Rod Taylor) and friend Meyer (Theodore Bickell) are doing a spot of night fishing from their boat under the bridge. Travis rescues Vangie and retrieves the weight. When Bartell locates Vangie and has his accomplice kill her in a hit and run, Travis decides to track Bartell down and exact revenge.
