While on the final stages of pregnancy, a silent wife, accompanied by her equally taciturn husband, enters the obstetrician's practice, taking a seat in the waiting room for the regular check-up. Lost in thought, the seemingly alienated couple, who passes the time indolently in the lounge, is too preoccupied with themselves to notice the hungry vagabond in the room--after all, there's free ice cream for all patients. Eventually, as the whirlwind of emotions becomes increasingly violent, there will be life, there will be death, and everything in between.
