Lucas is a quiet and very reserved young man living in a small country town with his maiden aunt, the pious Dona Lourdes who conducts regular prayer groups for the local ladies, at which he plays organ music. Aunt Lourdes agrees to help her cousin in law to take in for a short while her young nephew and Lucas's cousin, Mario, fresh out of jail and not welcomed at his own home. Aunt Lourdes mentions that she's going on a religious retreat for a few days so a stunned Lucas realises he's going to be alone in the house with this criminal. From the moment Mario swaggers up to the house the next day, hijinks and fun ensue, and the two cousins discover they like each other; meanwhile a predatory young girl from the prayer group has her own future plans for sweet Lucas.
