The Invisible Guest

After being arrested for killing her mistress Laura Vidal, the businessman Adrian Doria is released on an expensive bail paid by his lawyer Felix Leiva. A few days ago, Adrian had been selected the entrepreneur of the year in Spain. His lawyer hires the efficient attorney Virginia Goodman, who will retire after the case, to help Adrian in the interrogation. When Feliz travels to bribe a witness, Virginia arrives at Adrian's apartment and tells him that the prosecutor has found a new witness, and they have only three hours to prepare his defense. Further, Adrian shall tell her the true story of what happened. Adrian says that Laura and he had ended their love affair, but were blackmailed to pay one-hundred-thousand Euros and the blackmailer had reserved a hotel room in Berger. While waiting for him, Adrian was attacked and Laura was murdered. Then he tells her what happened before. Instead of travelling on business to Paris, as he told to his wife, he traveled with Laura, who lives with her husband in Barcelona, to Berger. On the return, Adrian hits another car while diverting from a deer. Laura sees that the young man, Daniel Garrido, died in the car crash. When another car passes by, Laura poses as if she was exchanging insurance information with Adrian. Then she asks him to get rid of Daniel and the car. Adrian drives the car to a swamp with Daniel's body in the trunk and sink them. Meanwhile Laura has difficulties starting the BMW and another car stops to help her. The man, Tomas Garrido, tells Laura that he may tow her and fix the car. She accepts the deal and while waiting for the repair, Tomas" wife treats her very well. Soon she learns that they are Daniel's parents. When the BMW is repaired, she picks Adrian and they destroy the car in a junkyard and he reports the police that the car was stolen in Paris. Virginia tells Adrian that his story is flawed, and he must tell her the truth; otherwise, she will not be able to defend him. Adrian continues the night saying several different stories until he finally tells to Virginia the truth.
