Divided into four independent short stories, this erotic anthology presents tantalising tales of sexual passion and its diverse manifestations. Intertwining the omnipotent human urge with the fervour of desire, curiosity, and self-exploration, it blends the forbidden with the obscene. Unapologetically, the film attempts to offer insight--sometimes superficial, sometimes comical--into provocative subjects. The first segment, "La Maree (The Tide)", explores virginal naivete and the farewell to childhood. In the next part, ironically titled "Therese Philosophe", a sexually curious bourgeois girl surrenders to the pleasures of erotic self-stimulation and philosophical reflection. The third vignette, "Erzsebet Bathory", is a blood-soaked exploration of youthful vanity. This quest for immortality draws on the dark legend of the murderous Countess Elizabeth Bathory and her vampiric obsession with the warm, bright-red virginal blood. Finally, in "Lucrezia Borgia", the erotic collection concludes with the shocking and scandalous act of incest, featuring the infamous Lucrezia Borgia, daughter of Pope Alexander VI, and her lustful cardinal brother, Cesare Borgia.
