Coldplay - Paradise (2011)@MRD
  • Release date: 18 Oct 2011
  • Release year: 2011
  • Runtime: 4 minutes
  • Country: United Kingdom
  • Keywords: music video
Plot:
In the video, a man dressed in an elephant suit (Chris Martin) escapes from the zoo and, first on a stolen bike, and then by metro arrives at Heathrow Airport. Having got on board the plane and hiding in a suitcase, he gets to Cape Town. Then, in the clip appear the urban views of Johannesburg, including the Nelson Mandela Bridge and the Bramfontein railroad tracks. Dancing in front of passers-by, he collects some money, goes to the store and buys a unicycle (there was not enough money for the usual one). Further, the character goes on a mono-cycle along the track, simultaneously voting unsuccessfully. Finally, he arrives in the Savannah, where he meets three of the same "elephants" (the rest of the Coldplay members). Glad to meet, they all start playing musical instruments and singing. The video ends with four "elephants" running along the Savannah towards the retiring camera.
