Plot:
1750 England. The Bow Street Runners, led by Sir Roger Daley and his underling Captain Desmond Fancey, were created to deal with the rash of crimes by highwaymen. While they have been largely effective, they have time and time again been outwitted by the notorious gang led by Richard Turpin, more commonly referred to as Big Dick. Daley in particular has vengeance in mind as he and his wife themselves were robbed by Big Dick. As such, he directs Fancey and his underling Sgt. Jock Strapp to go undercover to ferret out the gang, they not even knowing Big Dick if they saw him. Not knowing his appearance is problematic as he and his gang of Harriet and Tom are hiding in plain sight. Factoring in to what happens is his encounters with "French" Madame Desiree and her traveling band of ladies of the night.
