Once at his post, Kuldeep is shocked to know that only 120 soldiers have been deployed there as Military Intelligence believes Pak Army will give a parallel BOP higher priority. Bajwa too is faced with the dilemma that his air base compromises only of Hawker Hunter fighter jets which cannot perform night patrol. Kuldeep's core team comprises of 2nd Lieutenant Dharmveer Singh, Anti-Tank Armour Gun experts Subedars Ratan Singh and Mathura Das, who has a cancer stuck wife with nobody to look after her or his children, and BSF official Captain Bhairon Singh. On 3rd December, Pakistani Air Forces bomb airfields across India, thereby officially commencing war. Via reconnaissance, Kuldeep is informed that a Pakistani strike force with 40 tanks and over 2000 infantry are heading towards Longewala. Bajwa is forced to wait for the first light of the morning due to the shortcomings of his jets. Kuldeep decides to put up a fight till sunrise with all his men dedicatedly staying alongside him. Question is, would 120 men alone be able to defend their position against so much firepower for the entire night, or will they be annihilated making a path for the invaders further into India ?
