High school graduates Samuel and Janik spend the summer in their garden shed. The best friends enjoy their freedom and independent lifestyle. Janik's parents hardly see their son anymore, and when they do, it's usually together with Samuel, who has become like a second son to the family. After graduating from high school, the two boys want to go to Istanbul. Samuel, who grew up in a broken home with his alcoholic mother Irene, wants to finally find his father. Apparently, his father's name is Osman and he lives in the Turkish metropolis. Samuel has no further information about his father, as his mother was unable to tell him anything else. So he decides to search for him himself. Janik, however, wants to return to Germany after his Istanbul adventure and study, as his academic parents have planned for him. After graduating from high school, the trip to Turkey can finally begin. But shortly before departure, the friendship between the two is put to the test when Janik makes an unforgivable mistake. Can their friendship be saved, or will the situation escalate in foreign Istanbul?
