Once a year, safe-breaker Willie T. Soke, a misanthropic and chronically depressed wreck of a man, wakes up from his annual slumber to team up with Marcus, his ill-tempered partner in crime. Together, they have devised a simple but ingenious plan: Willie poses as a department store Santa, while Marcus acts as his trusted elf helper. This way, the criminal duo has been cracking safes for nearly eight years now. However, nothing lasts forever.
