Mill owner Inamdar's son Balasaheb (Bal) arrives home after completing his education abroad he is an atheist as he believes God was cruel to him as his mother passed away soon and didn't get the love from his stepmother.Inamdar hands him over the family business Bal decides to run the business according to his wish he stops the Ganesh Utsav festival in the mill which was conducted since years which makes the workers angry.Inamdar to passes away during a business trip Bal meets Veena a firm believer in God and both get married soon with blessings of Sathe Kaka the mill also has certain changes where Bal decides to remove the Ganesh temple.The relationship of Bal and Veena starts having drift which leads to her miscarriage,the mill also catches fire its then Sathe Kaka then reminds Veena to full fill her vow at Ashta Vinayak.
