1888 - Jack the Ripper

1888 is an Indie Kannada film shot completely in Guerrilla style. The movie is inspired by certain real life incidents that happened between 2016-2021. The plot begin when demonetization (currency ban) is announced in India and 3 unrelated characters are thrown in the mix. There is a superstar aspiring to become a politician and her plans now go awry. On the other hand is an insurance agent who has a lot on his plate and then we have a mysterious character about whom not much is known. These 3 characters now face-off over a big bag of cash and there begins a car journey. Some more characters now come into the picture. The result is a puzzling cat and mouse game with a very unexpected outcome.
